Exclusive Performance by the Legendary Protest Collective Pussy Riot – This Summer in Riga at VEF Vasarnīca!

RIOT DAYS is a revolutionary live music, theatre, and multimedia performance based on Maria Alyokhina’s critically acclaimed book, which details the collective’s iconic protests, trials, and imprisonments. This living, ever-evolving performance reflects ongoing political persecution and current global events in real-time.

Having received multiple prestigious awards, RIOT DAYS has been performed over 400 times worldwide. Proceeds from the performances are donated to the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv and political prisoners in Russia.

The concert will be opened by the Latvian feminist punk band Depustūtes.

Pussy Riot is a protest art collective founded in March 2011, consisting of a rotating lineup of approximately 11 women. The group became known for staging unauthorized, provocative punk performances in unconventional public spaces, later transforming them into music videos shared online. Their key themes include feminism, LGBTQ+ rights, and opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The concert is organized by DAMN.LOUD Agency in collaboration with Laska V21.
