Three Days Grace return to Latvia with a bang
This fall, on November 21st, Three Days Grace, one of the most well-known and popular Canadian hard rock and post-punk bands in Latvia, returns to the Palladium concert hall with even greater power.
The official return of the original leader of the band, Adam Gontier, with the second soloist Matt Walst also maintaining his position, has made Three Days Grace not only numerically, but also creatively stronger than ever. This is evidenced by the first single Mayday from the currently upcoming, already eighth, studio album.

In addition to brand new songs, the set will feature a number of the band's most well-known hits: Animal I Have Become, So Called Life, Break, I Hate Everything About You, Never Too Late, Just Like You, Riot, Painkiller, The Mountain, Home, etc.

We would like to emphasize that all three previous Three Days Grace concerts in Riga were completely sold out.
As you know, Three Days Grace originated in the Ontario town of Norwood, where it was founded in 1997 by lead singer and guitarist Adam Gontier, drummer and backing vocalist Neil Sanderson and bass guitarist Brad Walst. In 2003 the band was joined by Barry Stock, who then became the lead guitarist. In 2013 Adam Gontier left the band. To replace him, Brad Walst offered the position to his own brother Matt. In October 2024, the band officially announced that Adam had returned to the group and would form a solo duo with Matt. Emphasizing such a relatively rare example, the guys even added the band name: Three Days Grace 2X.
On the reunion, Adam Gontier shares “I feel like it’s been seamless, better than we were expecting. It’s like we got back in a room together and picked up where we left off. We have been friends for so long it’s kind of natural to get back in the room together.”
Matt Walst echoes and adds “It’s been so much fun and inspiring making this record. Combining over 20 years of Three Days Grace and doing something that no band has ever done. I’m excited for the fans to hear it!”
To date, 7 Three Days Grace studio albums have been released, three of which have received official 3x 2x and 1x Platinum status. 18 songs have reached number 1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock chart. The band has been nominated 61 times for various music industry awards and has won 26 times. Spotify statistics inform that their songs are played an average of over 14 million times a month, which makes them one of the most listened to rock bands in the world.
Since Three Days Grace style varies from album to album, music critics cannot associate them with only one music genre, therefore they are described as alternative hard rock, post-grunge and even new metal band.
